My brother and I relive our glory days.
Tonight is a cover of Ben Howard doing a cover of Bruce Springsteen. Dancing in the Dark.
Time for a The Weepies cover. Now if I could just nab a duet partner.
But then maybe alcohol isn’t as bad as I see it. I mean,
wine every now and then is fine, but…Drinking to get drunk
is just…Embarrassing. I know from experience. It’s just hard
to know what to think or who to trust in what they say anymore.
So instead of letting it bother me, I’m burning Savage Garden and
Michael Bolton to my iPod. Super.
Lord, I miss the days of being a college radio DJ.
I don’t normally do this, but I figured: what the hell. Update photos. Exactly 3 months since I started a low carb diet. Besides an abs+chest work out for ten minutes a day, this is a direct result of my diet. I’m the thinnest I’ve been in ever.
Starting weight: 174lbs
I hate to say that happiness correlates with my external body image, I really do. But I’m the happiest I’ve been about myself in ages.
As promised, Beaux Arts Ball 2012 pictures. Some girl said I wear make up well for a man. Can’t tell if that was a compliment.
Oh, and I was the Brawny Girl.
I’m a pretty girl. Beaux Arts Ball 2011.
Today’s lesson is on how to enjoy an Easter Sunday to yourself.
What you’ll need:
- A pipe
- Pipe tobacco (I’ve selected the Fayette Favorite for this demonstration)
- Mad Hatter IPA (or any other good beer will do)
- A robe
- A Steinbeck biography
- Chest hair
Once you’ve obtained these items, then you may enjoy your Easter Sunday thoroughly and dutifully. Thank you.
Cracked open the oatmeal stout :)
Crisp, dark, subtle chocolate and oat notes. All and all, this turned out pretty amazing. I’m buying a bottle of Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout tomorrow so that I may compare.
Since I’m not drinking much anymore, I think I may plan a beer drinking party for the 48 beers Evan and I made.
Also, I cannot think of one literary themed name for the beer. No bueno :(
Tonight, I’ll be enjoying the last bottle of my IPA. while I finish up a couple of my freelance articles. But don’t worry, more Bradley Brew is on its way! Oatmeal Stout should be ready by my hiking trip this weekend.
Also, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need more random parties in my life. Maybe I should just start forcing myself to be more social. Bah.
